She also had a translation implant that allowed her to speak thousands of languages and communicate with hundreds of species.

Trissa is in her early thirties, tall with dark hair and at the time of the rebellion had been served in the ACT Corps for 5 years.

Xenos Nineteen: Former superior of the ACT Corps turned rebel. A Tydisian/Laetez/Human crossbreed. He is amphibious, though he cannot submerge indefinitely like his Tydisian relatives. He can breathe through multihued areas of his skin and has lungs more powerful than any Earth-based aquatic species. He is blue in color but appears purplish due to his red human/Laetez blood. Xenos is physically stronger than humans or Laetez, but not as strong as most full Tydisians. Other physical characteristics include internal ears, webbed hands and feet, and fangs. He is completely hairless, except for his eyelashes. His blue eyes appear human/Laetez but his vision is superior to those species. He is slightly over six feet tall. Xenos feels a strong connection to Tydisians and in his youth trained on Tydepth with the martial arts master Tepidat. Due to his mistreatment as an ACT product, he feels anger toward the Laetez government and medics, though he has many Laetez personality traits, including a high sex drive and a tendency toward violence when he deems it necessary. He has for the most part ignored his human nature and feels humans are inferior. This attitude changes once he meets his lover, Moonlight Santos Gama.

Xenos Two: One of the ACT products in the Xenos line. He is thickly muscled with a disproportionately small head and sharp teeth. He is very shy of strangers and lived at Lab 1A.

Yashel: S. Master of the ACT Corps. Like his "brothers," Zale and Xenos, he is a Tydisian/Laetez/human crossbreed. Yashel can pass for human/Laetez, except for his webbed hands and feet. He also has Tydisian lung capacity and can submerge for long periods of time. He has Laetez strength, short chestnut hair, large blue eyes and is five-feet eleven-inches tall.

Zale: Former third in command of the ACT Corps. Like his "brothers," Yashel and Xenos, he is a Tydisian/Laetez/human crossbreed. Zale appears human/Laetez, but has Tydisian lung capacity and can submerge for long periods of time. He has no webbing but has Tydisian strength that is far superior to that of humans or Laetez. Zale has a smooth scalp, brown eyes and is six-feet eight-inches tall.

About Laetez Naming

Generally all Laetez have a prefix included with their individual names that signify their status as a Re (external being) or Er (internal being). Examples include Re Halina, Re Lord, and Re Vic. With close friends and family, Res sometimes drop their prefix and are called only by their individual names or nicknames, for instance Halina.

Act products, like Xenos, Yashel and Zale have Laetez blood, but are not part of a symbiotic relationship, therefore they do not have prefixes, only given names symbolizing their mixed blood and individuality.
