What’s your favorite autumn treat?
Favorite autumn treat—that’s a hard one. I love when it’s chilly enough to enjoy a big mug of hot chocolate.
Do you celebrate Halloween? If you do, what are some of your favorite traditions or activities?
Hubby and I light up our pumpkin, curl up on the sofa and watch some of our favorite Halloween movies like Dracula, Lost Boys and The Crow.
What’s the sexiest paranormal creature?
I think it’s probably a werewolf. There’s something primal about a creature who is part man/part animal. He’ll be very protective of those he loves.
If the hero or heroine in your latest novel was thrust into a classic horror story, which one would it be and why?
*g* That kinda happens to my heroine in Howl of the Wolf. She’s fighting Hades himself for her life. She could handle herself just about anywhere.
N.J. is the author of Howl of the Wolf.

Hades’ Carnival, Book 4
When artist and tarot reader Sabrina Wolfe runs across an old carousel wolf in an antique shop, she can’t resist buying the compelling symbol of her totem animal, her protector. But she isn’t prepared when the wooden animal comes to fang-flashing life–and shifts into a darkly sexy man.
Arand is the last of seven immortal warriors sworn to protect the Lady of the Beasts. Freed by Sabrina’s touch, their instant physical attraction is hot, intense–yet neither is safe until twenty-four hours have passed and the curse is truly broken.
Hades plans to use every one of those hours to unleash his last effort to control the world–or see both the warrior and his woman dead. Though help comes from unexpected quarters, Arand and Sabrina alone risk paying the ultimate price for victory. Their lives…and their very souls.

About N.J.:
N.J. has always been a voracious reader, and now she spends her days writing novels of her own. Vampires, werewolves, dragons, time-travelers, seductive handymen, and next-door neighbors with smoldering good looks–all vie for her attention. It’s a tough life, but someone’s got to live it.

Happy Halloween early. Your books are so good and I haven’t read Howl Of The Wolf yet but I know it is just as good as your other ones. To me you couldn’t write a story which didn’t sound good. sue Leech

I already commented but wanted to say you are welcome. I don’t say things I don’t mean and you are very good with words. I am setting here watching a black bear as I write you..do you think it’s a shifter bear? ha We have black bear here all the time as we live in the woods. They don’t bother us and we don’t bother them. Happy Halloween. sue
Love the cover NJ, it leaves some things up to the imagination. A tarot reader adds an element that draws me in. I have had my cards read and enjoy what is revealed.
Happy Halloween.
Sounds like an intriguing book, plus the cover definitely grabbed my attention.

I LOVE your Hades Carnival series N.J.
Read the excerpt & Howl of the Wolf looks to be one of the best of the series!
I’m a Vincent Price fan, He could turn hero to villian and back so effortlessly it still amazes me.
