What are your favorite genres to read and write?
I like to read books that sweep me away to another world and let me forget about the ills of current times. So I enjoy historical, paranormal, and futuristic romances and some straight sci fi/fantasy. I also read humorous female amateur sleuth stories when I’m in the mood for a mystery.
Naturally, I write the kind of stories I enjoy reading. I’ve written five science fiction romances which feature strong heroines and dashing heroes. One of these characters in each book usually has a special power, giving these stories a paranormal element. I also have written nine books in my Bad Hair Day mystery series. Right now, I’m working on a paranormal trilogy involving Norse mythology.
To you what type of hero/heroine is the hottest?
I like a strong, independent female who is resourceful and can hold her own against the villain. The hero must be sexy, confident, powerful, and yet smitten by the heroine.
Share one of the sexiest or romantic lines from one of your books.
I like this scene from Circle of Light, my first futuristic now available in digital format at

It stands out in my mind probably because I’d like a man like Teir to say this to me! Captain Teir Reylock is the spaceship captain who abducted attorney Sarina Bretton from Earth and transported her to Bimordus Two for her wedding to Lord Cam’brii. Assigned as Sarina’s bodyguard while she gets to know her fiancé, Teir finds it hard to deny her charms.
Teir reached out to grasp her, intending to dissolve her resistance with a kiss, but she stepped out of range.
“I said it’s not right.” It annoyed her that he was going against the very principles of duty and honor he espoused. “I’m sure Lord Cam’brii wouldn’t take lightly to his bride having an affair with her bodyguard.”
“To Zor with Cam’brii. All he cares about is politics. You’re just a means to an end as far as he’s concerned. I’ll make you feel more than he ever will.”
Sarina had no doubt of that. Rolf inspired no physical reaction in her at all, while Teir made her weak with desire.
Speaking as one of your characters, describe in a sentence or two what makes your partner irresistible.
This is Silver from Silver Serenade talking about Jace:
“Stars above, how do I describe the man? He’s an arrogant son of a wonkby, and he can be stubborn, too, but he makes me feel like I’m the only woman in the universe.”
Please tell us about your latest release.
Silver Serenade is a futuristic romance available in print and digital formats. I was intrigued by the notion of a hero and heroine who had the same goal but for different reasons. Silver and Jace both aim to catch an intergalactic terrorist, but Silver wants him dead and Jace needs the man alive. What will happen when they catch him?
Here’s the story blurb:
Ace pilot Jace Vernon is forced to flee his home world after being framed for murder. He seeks justice, but S.I.N. agent Silver Malloy gets in his way. The platinum-haired beauty counters his every move in the quest to clear his name. As he makes it his mission to break her, he doesn’t count on the personal consequences of success.
Silver refuses to abort her deadly mission even if it means killing the one man Jace needs alive to prove his innocence. Her resolve wavers when Jace’s charms melt the barriers around her heart. Can she help him win his case, even if it means betraying her own people?
