Bitter enemies, the men rebel against the notion of being bound for life, but despite their opposing personalities, they can't control their passion for each other. When Radiance, a merchant from Earth, crashes on the planet Shandra, she is taken into slavery and bought as a gift for Darkrock and Strongsea. Both desire the exotic human slave, but Strongsea's compassionate nature drives him to protect her against Darkrock's lust. Soon Radiance and Strongsea realize there's more to Darkrock than his harsh veneer, but only together can they draw out his inner man. Excerpt: "I wanted her," Darkrock said. "The question is, does she want you?" Strongsea stated. Darkrock glanced down toward Strongsea's stiff cock, glistening with her essence. "Well there's little doubt she wants you. I think I'd like to watch you finish with her. Go on, Strongsea. Fuck her." Strongsea's fist snapped out so quickly that neither Radiance nor Darkrock noticed until it smashed into his face. Darkrock staggered almost to his knees, but recovered fast and jabbed at Strongsea. Stunned, Radiance stared at them as they struck each other. Darkrock's lip was bleeding and crimson rivulets ran down Strongsea's cheek from a cut above his right eye. Were they out of their minds? Fighting over her, a slave? Was she out of her mind, thinking of herself as a slave? "Stop it!" Radiance shouted. "Stop!" She jumped out of the bed, searching for something to use to break them up. Unarmed, she had no chance of stopping them and would probably get herself knocked out in the process if one of the big goons struck her accidentally. Seeing no other options, she drew a deep breath then jumped on Darkrock's back, her arms locked around his neck. He reached up and grasped her arms while staggering in circles toward the bed. Strongsea paused, his hands lifted in a defensive position, but a half-surprised, half-amused look on his face. Darkrock tumbled onto the bed. When Radiance momentarily loosened her grip, he shifted position and pinned her beneath him, holding her wrists on either side of her head. Their gazes met and for the first time Radiance noticed the many emotions simmering beneath the seemingly cool surface of Darkrock's eyes. His mouth descended on hers in a passionate yet surprisingly tender kiss. Radiance closed her eyes and opened her mouth wider to his thrusting tongue. Darkrock's hold loosened on her wrists and she slipped away from his grasp to weave her fingers through his hair. He broke the kiss and buried his face between her breasts, licking and kissing them while his hands pressed the soft flesh and his thumbs lightly pinched her nipples. He kissed his way down her belly and Radiance's heart pounded.
