How long have you been writing?
I've been telling stories for as long as I can remember and writing for my own pleasure since grammar school. I started writing with publication in mind about 19 years ago.
How often do you write?
Every day. For me keeping to a schedule is an important part of writing. Sitting down each day and working on my books is the only way to make sure the stories I want to tell actually get completed.
What is the difference between erotica and erotic romance?
To me the difference between erotica and erotic romance is erotica can simply focus on the sexual relationship between the characters. An erotic romance needs to have all the elements of a great traditional romance, such as endearing characters and an interesting plot, but must also include hot sex.
Why write about Vampires?
I've always been fascinated with vampires, probably because my mother liked them and as a child I was exposed to plenty of vampire movies and literature. There are so many legends about them that it's fun to write stories that break with tradition in some way. Not that I don't love a good old-fashioned vampire tale, but I also like stories that twist or change vampire lore.
Is it harder to write novels or short fiction?
I don't think one is harder to write than the other because each individual story has its difficult parts and parts that seem to write themselves.
