Where are you from?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A small town in Illinois called Carbonsdale, but now I live near Northwestern in Chicago.<\/p>\n

What is your job?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am a full-time student at Northwestern, and I am working for a doctorate in art history. However, in order to have money to buy\u2026well\u2026anything, I also work part time at the University library on campus.<\/p>\n

Are you a people person or a lone wolf?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Very much a lone wolf. I get annoyed if people think of me a \u201clibrarian,\u201d or a dorky academic, but I\u2019m not the most outgoing person in the world. My roommate, Marisa, is definitely my opposite \u2013 she goes out looking for trouble. But I\u2019m pretty happy in my family room with a pint of ice cream.<\/p>\n

Do you have any special powers or skills?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am a T.A. for introductory art history classes, and I\u2019ve learned what all teachers call \u201cThe Look.\u201d I can peer down over the edge of my glasses and glare, and just about any student will at least have the decency to look uncomfortable or apologetic.<\/p>\n

What is your main goal in life?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Until I med Tad, it was just to get my phd and then get a good teaching position at a relatively prestigious university. When I met him, though, I decided I also may want to add a hot guy for a \u201chappily ever after\u201d to my list of goals.<\/p>\n

Do you or did you ever have a mentor?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not really. Marisa, my roommate, is my rock \u2013 she\u2019s like my sister. But I wouldn\u2019t say she\u2019s my mentor.<\/p>\n

Who is your greatest enemy and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Guys who go to college on trust funds and squander their parents\u2019 money drinking and partying all the time. I didn\u2019t have much growing up, and I\u2019ve paid my way for just about everything \u2013 it makes me angry to see people with so much handed to them and how they feel entitled.<\/p>\n

Who is your closest friend?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Right now, Marisa and Tad are both closest to me.<\/p>\n

Who is your love interest?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tad\u2026even though, technically, he has a trust fund and comes from a lot of money. He\u2019s different than most of those other guys, though.<\/p>\n

What is your favorite thing about Tad?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hm\u2026is this PG-rated? Just kidding. I like that he likes me for me. I also like that he has his own secrets and struggles, and is different than most of the guys I\u2019ve met.<\/p>\n

What makes Tad sexy?<\/strong><\/p>\n

He\u2019s good looking, obviously\u2026but more than that, he\u2019s smart, and funny, and has a fierce passion for what he loves.<\/p>\n

What is the most annoying thing about Tad?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Definitely that he hasn\u2019t decided what he is going to \u201cbe when he grows up.\u201d To me, it seems simple that he should pursue his academic career \u2013 but he\u2019s torn by his loyalties to his mother.<\/p>\n

Describe Tad in three words.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Explosive. Intelligent. Passionate.<\/p>\n

What was the last gift you gave Tad?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m not sure I\u2019ve given him anything! He doesn\u2019t expect gifts or anything \u2013 he\u2019s not a materialistic guy. And he knows I have no money.<\/p>\n

Where would you take Tad on a dream vacation?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Italy! It would be romantic, visiting Tuscany or wandering around and getting lost in Venice. Plus, the art!<\/p>\n

Do you have a secret fantasy?<\/strong><\/p>\n

To have a private tour of the Louvre with Tad, and then to have a romantic dinner overlooking the Eifel Tower.<\/p>\n

Describe yourself in three words.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Smart. Driven. Intellectual.<\/p>\n

Do you have pets?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No! I\u2019m barely home, I probably couldn\u2019t even keep a fish alive.<\/p>\n

Share a favorite memory.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When Tad showed up to my office with a sunflower as a peace offering. Then things got\u2026steamy.<\/p>\n

What is your favorite food?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pizza. I\u2019m still a grad student!<\/p>\n

What kind of music do you listen to?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mostly 80s and 90s alternative stuff \u2013 I\u2019m into the vintage. I have a Pearl Jam poster in my room.<\/p>\n

What is your favorite way to travel?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I love the trains in Chicago \u2013 they\u2019ll get you almost anywhere, they\u2019re cheap, and you can read while you ride.<\/p>\n

Name one piece of clothing you wouldn’t want to live without.<\/strong><\/p>\n

My Doc Martens. They\u2019re old and beat up, but I love them.<\/p>\n

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A teacher in high school told me to follow my dreams, even if they weren\u2019t practical. I have always lived by that advice.<\/p>\n

If you could give your past self a piece of advice, what would it be?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t be so quick to judge people. Just because someone looks a certain way doesn\u2019t mean they\u2019ll act a certain way, too.<\/p>\n

What is your idea of a perfect date?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Going to the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art and wandering around for hours, then having a nice meal. And the perfect date would end up in bed with ice cream and Stephen Colbert on the TV.<\/p>\n

What makes you happy?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beautiful things, and beautiful people. Tad is a beautiful person \u2013 not just his looks, but the person that he is.<\/p>\n

What makes you angry? <\/strong><\/p>\n

When people don\u2019t appreciate what they have, or they think they\u2019re entitled to something.<\/p>\n

How do you like to spend your free time?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reading, taking walks, going to museums. Hanging out with my best friend, and of course, Tad.<\/p>\n

Do you prefer one lover or multiple lovers?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m monogamous.<\/p>\n

What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hm\u2026I\u2019m not usually a crazy person. Once in college, though, I snuck into the Art Institute of Chicago without paying, because I had no extra money. I felt so guilty about it, though, I sent a note and the admission fee a month later when I got a paycheck.<\/p>\n

Do you have any tattoos or piercings?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My ears are pierced, but I\u2019m a baby when it comes to needles!<\/p>\n
