Being a night person, Guy didn\u2019t sleep very well, but he enjoyed the hours spent in bed with Ryan. The mortal woke early the next morning, just when Guy had finally tumbled into a deep sleep.<\/p>\n
\u201cSorry but I need to go. I have to be at work early,\u201d Ryan said. He stood over the bed, rolling up the sleeves on his white dress shirt. It was tucked into khaki pants. Ryan\u2019s hair was neatly combed and he\u2019d shaved off his stubble. It made him look younger. With a smooth jaw and those luminous eyes, he looked almost innocent.<\/p>\n
In daylight, dressed in ordinary clothes, one would never guess that he was the Beast Tamer by night.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll right. I\u2019ll get out of here.\u201d Guy placed a hand over his eyes for a moment.<\/p>\n
Ryan caressed his hair and Guy moved his hand to meet his lover\u2019s gaze.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019d like to do this again,\u201d Guy said.<\/p>\n
Ryan smiled. \u201cI bet.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cDon\u2019t tell me you don\u2019t,\u201d Guy said with a slightly sardonic edge to his voice. Last night Ryan\u2019s very soul had cried out to him. Though he didn\u2019t want to admit it, it had been the same for Guy.<\/p>\n
Last night had made Guy certain of two things — Ryan was feverishly attracted to him and despite his love of rough play, he wasn\u2019t a killer. However that didn\u2019t mean he didn\u2019t have knowledge of who the murderer was and if he did, he might be in danger himself.<\/p>\n
\u201cDidn\u2019t say that,\u201d Ryan told him.<\/p>\n
\u201cTonight then?\u201d Guy took Ryan\u2019s hand and their fingers entwined.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have clients tonight. Are you free Saturday afternoon?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cSure.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cMeet me here. Noon.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ryan liked being in control and Guy enjoyed his company so much he almost didn\u2019t mind allowing him to get away with it.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne,\u201d Guy said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll right, one.\u201d Ryan turned away from the bed. When Guy didn\u2019t move, he glanced at him over his shoulder and said, \u201cI\u2019ll see you then.\u201d<\/p>\n
Guy groaned and got out of bed. He grabbed his clothes, but didn\u2019t bother putting them on. Still, he smiled as he felt Ryan\u2019s gaze following his naked ass out the door.<\/p>\n
