Thank you for stopping by.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Alpha\u2019s piercing gaze remained fixed on Grit, but the scrutinizing look didn\u2019t disturb him. Grit respected the Alpha, but he didn\u2019t fear him. Maybe, somewhere deep inside, he was still a wolf warrior after all.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> \u201cYou\u2019re honest,\u201d the Alpha said. \u201cI like that. I require it from members of my pack and from allies.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> \u201cI hope you consider me an ally and maybe one day, I can earn my way into the pack.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> \u201cIt\u2019s possible. I have an assignment for you. Grit now lives a shadowy existence as one of the soulless, remembering only bits and pieces of his former life. Nonetheless, he recognizes evil and knows he must fight for the future of his young son, as well as the rest of the world.<\/p>\n<p>Zari, a vampire warrior, helped Grit escape the tower where he had been imprisoned. She had feelings for Grit when they&#8217;d first met, but at the time he had been mated to another wolf. Now that he&#8217;s on his own, they&#8217;re free to explore their feelings as they fight side by side as part of the rebellion against the demons. In the midst of war, their love grows, but danger is everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>Haylen, the demon who resurrected Grit, offers a bargain that may save or destroy the rebellion.
