\u201cDon\u2019t think this is a common thing for me,\u201d she said, trying to keep coherent thoughts as he kissed her neck and hugged her close to his powerful frame. Her eyes half closed, she reached up and stroked his face. \u201cI don\u2019t usually act like this with men I just met.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI know.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHow do you know?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cJust a feeling. Sometimes that\u2019s all you have to go with.\u201d<\/p>\n

She turned, gazing up at him. His sapphire eyes stared intently into hers. Her hands slid up his arms and across his impossibly broad shoulders. What did he feel like under all those clothes? Was his chest smooth or hairy? Did he have scars? He must.<\/p>\n

Angela took his hand as they walked to the couch and sat.<\/p>\n

Staring into her eyes, Abe said, \u201cI always thought you were pretty, but in person you\u2019re beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat do you mean in person?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cJim showed me family pictures sometimes. You were there.\u201d<\/p>\n

She smiled. \u201cYeah, I guess I would be. You and Jim were good friends for a long time. We wondered why we never met you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cJim used to ask me to spend the holidays when he came home to visit, but I always turned him down. You all are a family and I felt like I didn\u2019t belong.\u201d<\/p>\n

His words tugged at her heart.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry you felt that way. You would have been very welcome.\u201d<\/p>\n

She reached out to caress his face. After a moment, he shut his eyes briefly and leaned into her hand before tugging her even closer to kiss her again.<\/p>\n
