It&#8217;s time for the WeWriWa blog hop. Participating writers share 8-10 sentences from one of their stories. This week&#8217;s excerpt is from my upcoming paranormal romance Trinity and Jeff. It&#8217;s the second story in the Wild Witches of Beaver Bay series and will soon be released by Changeling Press. In this scene, Trinity has been called by magic to her family&#8217;s ancestral land to meet her soulmate. Her best friend who is also in love with her, meets her there and she&#8217;s not happy about it.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/kate-hill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/covercomingsoon.jpg?zoom=0.75&amp;resize=200%2C300\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/>\u201cYou\u2019re on vacation, Jeff, and you work hard all year long. Don\u2019t you at least want to relax and do what you want instead of wasting your time babysitting me?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cYou don\u2019t need a babysitter, and if there\u2019s a chance you might not be safe up here, then there\u2019s no way I\u2019m going to enjoy myself.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cYou think about me too much.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cWe\u2019re friends.
