This week&#8217;s snippet skips ahead a few sentences, continuing the conversation between the priestesses and the abbess.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/kate-hill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/covercomingsoon.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cI understand the warrior priests are all male,\u201d Selena said.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cIt has been that way since the beginning.\u201d<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Selena studied the abbess carefully. \u201cDoes it bother you, that women aren\u2019t allowed to join their ranks?\u201d<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cIt doesn\u2019t bother them that they aren\u2019t allowed to join ours. To be honest, I wouldn\u2019t want to be a warrior priest.\u201d<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Selena couldn\u2019t argue with that. \u201cI suppose that\u2019s understandable. We\u2019re pacifists as well.\u201d<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cJust you, or your entire world?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>About Warrior Priest<\/p>\n<p>(Science Fiction Romance)<\/p>\n<p>What happens when a warrior priest from a strict religion meets a free-spirited priestess from a new age commune?<\/p>\n<p>Jade and Selena are as different as two people can be, but to facilitate an alliance between their worlds, they engage in a cultural exchange.
