Excerpt:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cYou want it rough?\u201d His voice is deeper and scratchier than usual, and I know he\u2019s trying to hide his fear, but he can\u2019t. Not from me.<\/p>\n

I release his hands and they settle on my shoulders. \u201cOnly if you do.\u201d I press a gentle kiss under his ear. His hands slide to the back of my neck and weave through my hair. I continue kissing his neck and jaw line.<\/p>\n

Moaning softly, he tilts his head, allowing easier access to his neck. The fear scent
\ndissipates, replaced fully by lust. This is more like it. I unzip his jacket and run my hand over his chest and stomach. His tight black shirt hugs every bone and muscle, but I want to feel skin. He apparently wants the same because he\u2019s pulling up my shirt. I step back to remove it and he shrugs off his jacket and lets it drop.<\/p>\n

We quickly shed our clothes and I take a moment to look at him — pale, lithe, and naked, with his face painted like a black and red snake. His blue-green eyes gleam with passion. I can\u2019t wait any more. Pulling him close, I cover his mouth in a penetrating kiss. Beneath the flavor of the lipstick is his more familiar taste. He wraps his arms around me. He\u2019s a lot stronger than he looks, but after watching him dance, I\u2019m not surprised.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s go to the bedroom,\u201d I say against his lips. Grinning, he slides, snakelike, from my grasp and glides backward toward the bedroom, beckoning me with a graceful hand.<\/p>\n

I growl and follow, more an eager puppy than a dangerous wolf. He does that to me, and it\u2019s nice, to have someone who makes me feel young and free again. Things have been so damn intense since the demon occupation.<\/p>\n
