Where are you from?
I’m afraid that’s a secret I share with no one. It might expose too much about me, and I can’t have that.
Who is your greatest enemy and why?
Jake Maxwell too often interferes with my plans, spiriting Dawn away from me. He loves her, though I can’t comprehend why. She is no more than a piece of property–and she belongs to me. Jake brought this battle down on himself, and now he must pay for his crimes.
Do you have a love interest?
I abhor weakness and love is epitome of that condition. Control is what I value.
What is your weapon of choice?
Oh, I can’t reveal that just yet. You might tip off Dawn or Jake, and my plans would go awry. I will say this: When I wield my weapon, time itself will shudder and fall to its knees before me.
Do you have a code of honor?
No one would believe this, but I honor justice. It’s an intensely personal thing, this concept of justice, defined by each of us for our own ends. Dawn and Jake will understand this soon. Very soon.
What do you think is your enemy’s greatest weakness?
Jake would do anything for Dawn, even die for her. Nothing else matters to him except protecting her. If he wants to die, well…He just might get what he wants this time.
Name one person you trust.
Only fools trust. Expose your secrets to another and you invite betrayal. No one knows the truth about me, though soon Jake and Dawn will learn everything–and they’ll pray to forget it.

Reborn to Avenge
A passion that outlasts time itself…
Dawn and her lover Jake Maxwell share a sizzling bond even death can’t sever, reunited through his reincarnation and her awakening after three thousand years as a mummy. They’re on the run from Redeo Biotech, the company that resurrected her — and Redeo’s founder, Anton Vahl, is hell-bent on reclaiming her to mine the secrets of her rebirth. When he offers to let Jake go free if Dawn surrenders to him, she must sacrifice her freedom to save the man she’s loved for eternity.
The power of vengeance is undying too…
With Dawn in his clutches, Vahl sets out to help her regain her lost memories, of the life she lived in ancient Egypt. She may be forced to submit to his tests, but she will never give in to his will. Underneath the scientific curiosity, she senses a darkness more disturbing than his claims of legal ownership over her body. As Jake embarks on a desperate quest to uncover Vahl’s true motives and free Dawn, she is shocked by what her newfound memories expose about her past and her future. Now she’s in a battle for her life and her soul, determined to vanquish an evil that knows no bounds.
Excerpt
Jake fixed his scalding glare on the wall. He blew a breath out through his nostrils.
Dawn let Vahl escort her through the door. As she passed Jake, his fingers sprang out to brush hers. She clasped them briefly, her throat constricting, then shuffled outside to the silver sedan awaiting them.
Inside the car, settled into the passenger seat, she buckled her seatbelt and looked out the windshield. Jake stood in the doorway. Tall. Tense. Impassive.
She watched him while Vahl backed the car out of the parking space, craning her neck to see him when the vehicle swung left, coming up parallel to the building. And she kept watching until the doorway shrank out of sight.
Vahl patted her knee. “Don’t worry, child. You are in my care now.”
A weight bore down on her chest and she fought to breathe. “You told me once you could help me regain my memories.”
“I can. I will.” He flipped on the radio. Classical music emanated from the speakers, some kind of string piece. “No one knows more about your body than I do, Dawn. Together, we will unlock its secrets — and the memories buried within you.”
Remembering who she’d been. That’s what she wanted, so badly, and yet trusting this man with her mind and body may have been the dumbest thing she’d ever done. What choice did she have? To stop Jake from getting himself killed, she had to take Vahl’s offer. More than herself, though, she worried about Jake. Oh God, don’t do anything crazy for me.
“The first task,” Vahl said, “is to explore your brain.”
She gripped the arm rest. Explore your brain. Another scientist who’d worked for Vahl told her they would autopsy her alive.
The car veered around a corner, heaving her toward the door. She’d made the right choice, hadn’t she? If not…
All she could hope was they’d kill her before they gutted her.
