Where are you from?
Originally? England, just outside London.
What is your main purpose in life?
<laugh> To live. I was a sailor, but turned to piracy, by no choice of my own.
Who is your greatest enemy and why?
Greatest enemy…for all sakes and purpose, I’ll say my half-brother, one I never knew about, Aidan.
Do you think you can ever reconcile with this enemy?
Never.
Do you have a love interest?
Yes, though God knows, I tried to fight that. She’s an angel and I am but the devil.
What is your weapon of choice?
<He smiles>
Do you have a code of honor?
Of course. There is the one code I was raised with, as being a gentleman, and that as a pirate. Vampires don’t have one to speak of…
What makes you angry?
Being a vampire.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
<laugh sarcastically> I’d not be in the condition I’m in. I’d rather be alive than the undead.
What do you think is your greatest strength?
Perhaps my greatest is the ability to help aid others, help heal them through my blood – or perhaps by removing those dangerous souls from this life…
What do you think is your greatest weakness?
Lavinia. Allowing myself to feel human again because of her love – it almost killed her.
Her Eternal Rogue –
Alexander Barrington flees his tyrannical uncle for the open seas where he becomes a ruthless pirate who turns vampire.
Captured and sentenced to hang, a fate he must avoid to keep his vampire self hidden, a reprieve comes if he rescues Lady Lavinia Sinclair from the French pirates and returns her to her fiancé in England.
Alexander falls for the woman who maes him feel human and alive, but can he really have her without exposing what he is—a thief, the undead? The damned? Refusing to taint her innocence any further, he erases her memory of him and vanishes into the night but can he really exist without her?
