Dracula: The Company of Monsters (Daryl Gregory, Kurt Busiek, Scott Godlewski) is a three volume series that focuses on Dracula in the modern age. The story beings with Dracula resurrected and imprisoned by the power hungry heads of a company. It isn’t in Dracula’s nature to be controlled and he soon turns the tables on his enemies. Meanwhile a family of vampire hunters seeks to destroy Dracula.
The series has lots of action, magic, mysterious characters, flashbacks to past events, and an intriguing storyline. I liked the artwork, in particular this version of Dracula that is both wild and elegant.
This new to me series was released in 2011.
