My favorite fictional villain remains Moriarty. He was a worthy villain — the equal of Sherlock Holmes. In the end, Sherlock Holmes was unable to best him with his intellect — Holmes’s greatest strength — and had to resort to brute force. I like a villain who provides a real challenge!
