Where are you from?
This is a very interesting question (strokes beard). Originally, I am from Hamelin, Lower Saxony, Germany; however, after a series of… unfortunate events, I relocated and designed my magical paradise, Koppelberg, where I resided for 700 years… But then I met Melodie… and I am considering relocating once again… To your universe.
What is your main purpose in life?
My main purpose in life is to have access to everything I desire. There was a time when I could not get the things I wanted. In fact, I suffered much because of this. Now, there is nothing that I want that I cannot have. If I want it, I find a way to get it. That’s the way that I am.
Who is your greatest enemy and why?
My greatest enemy is anyone or anything that stands in the way of what I want. For example, that Mayor and the ficken villagers of Hamelin: Had they paid me what they owed me, their brats would never have been stolen. And now, because of the things the mayor made me do, there is the possibility that the only woman I’ve ever wanted, does not want me. There is no greater enemy.
Do you think you can ever reconcile with this enemy?
The Mayor of Hamelin has long since died; however, if Melodie Harper chooses to hate me because of my past, I will never forgive him.
Do you have a love interest?
Yes. To be clear, I have never been interested in love before. I am a very busy man; but then I saw this woman in a vision – her name is Melodie Harper – and I have been consumed by thoughts of her ever since.
What is your weapon of choice?
My flute. I have several. They vary in size and magnificence.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
What in the hades would I need to change about myself? Look at me. I am perfection. Contrary to what that witch, Celeste Dubois believes, there is nothing about me that needs to change.
What do you think is your greatest strength?
My willpower is my greatest strength. When I set my mind to something, I make it happen.
What do you think is your greatest weakness?
What is weakness? I don’t understand the question…
Blurb:
She cannot see me, but she can hear me; and that is all I’ll need to make her fall in love… with me.
Everything I’ve ever needed, is right here in my Paradise, including the whining brats I led away from their parents eons ago with my magical flute; but when that sorceress, Celeste Dubois, shows up and suggests that things need to change – that I need to change, I know she has lost her mind. That is, until she presents me with a brown beauty named Melodie, who awakens something deep inside me with her own music. I thought I had everything, but suddenly, I’m considering that maybe I don’t. I’m full of magic and music, but will those be enough to win Melodie’s heart? Especially when she learns that I’m the villain she despises from the folktales of old?
I can’t see him, but his music is like magic, and it restores my belief in true love.
Patrick appeared out of nowhere – not that I can actually see him, but the aura and the vibe he carries is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Sometimes, I think I can actually see his radiance, and when he plays that flute of his, the sound is like healing magic. But my son, Rafael, has reservations. He says he recognizes Patrick from somewhere, though he’s not totally sure. Rafael is my eyes. I want to follow his lead, the way I always do, but Patrick is like magic, and his music is beckoning me closer…
