Weekly Movie Recommendation–Always short so you can get right to the movie.
Title: Werewolf Castle (2021)
Summary: A young villager joins a group of seasoned warriors on a trek through a werewolf-infested forest.
What I Liked: I watched this movie because it had a lot of the same people involved in making A Werewolf in England, and I love that movie (read my recommendation here). I’m still hoping for a sequel. Werewolf Castle didn’t have the humorous slant that A Werewolf in England had, but I enjoyed the action-adventure elements. It also had good characters. Most of the warriors were likeable. My favorite was Hal Skullsplitter. He made a great brooding antihero, and other than Thorfinn, we learned the most about him. Flute-playing Wolfstan made a fascinating villain (gotta love those teeth). I’ve already gone on too long for this to be a short, to the point recommendation, so if you like werewolf movies and if you liked A Werewolf in London, give Werewolf Castle a try.
Movie contains: Some Nudity and Sexual Situations, Gore, Violence
