Grant Winston looked at his date. Nature had blessed Magan with a great body that her little black dress accentuated. Her ready-to-party attitude never wavered. He liked blondes. Magan liked sex. So what was the problem?<\/span><\/p>\n

Magan unsettled him. She had a wildness about her that put his sixth sense on alert. He had met her at a bar two weeks ago and they\u2019d ended up at a party having sex on a stranger\u2019s bed. Not his style, but he\u2019d been too blitzed to think much beyond the hot, willing, woman making moves on him.<\/span><\/p>\n

She was blatant, crude and liked to party all night and sleep all day. \u201cI\u2019m riled and ready. Let\u2019s party!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNot going to happen.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Magan licked her lower lip. \u201cYou know what they say. Two\u2019s a date, but three\u2019s a party.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Sex with Magan was impersonal. That was the problem. The gratification was short-lived. Nothing lingered. Nothing mattered. Grant understood he was nothing more than a sex object, a body with an erection. He chuckled at the irony, but no one liked to be used, and if he let her, Magan would not only use him, she\u2019d abuse him, too. Again, not his path to satisfaction.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSomething funny?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSorry, Magan. Threesomes aren\u2019t my thing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ll like Ethan. I know you don\u2019t like crowds, so I thought we could pick up Ethan and go back to your place. We can do whatever you want. Try new things.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Grant rubbed the bridge of his nose. He didn\u2019t want to continue the discussion that had begun over after-dinner drinks. Magan wanted a threesome with Ethan, a nineteen-year-old with a staggering inheritance. High more hours than not, the kid had a crush on Magan.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNot interested.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cJust do it!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Instead of being flippant, Magan\u2019s remark had the tone of an order.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMen don\u2019t interest me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Magan downshifted and stopped at a traffic light. She pressed her stiletto-clad foot on the accelerator and revved the powerful engine of her luxury sports car. \u201cWill a woman interest you? Charla is just a phone call away.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Charla had legs that didn\u2019t quit, but Grant didn\u2019t rise to the bait. He shook his head. \u201cI\u2019ll pass.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI got something that will help,\u201d Magan said. \u201cGet you up and in a party mood.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNo, thanks.\u201d During his college years, Grant had lived in the fast lane, and he\u2019d nearly crashed and burned. Magan was running down that road, but Grant was done. \u201cYou go to the party. You can drop me off at my building.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Magan slid her hand up his thigh and cupped his genitals. \u201cCome on, Grant. Let\u2019s have a little fun.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Grant removed her hand. \u201cI\u2019m done for the night.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDone? The party is just starting.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Grant looked at her. Her eyes were blazing with anger. \u201cNo.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
