Ever since the first time I saw Jaws as a kid, I’ve been a fan of shark horror movies. Yes, back then the thought of a shark attack crossed my mind even in a swimming pool, but that didn’t stop my fascination with shark movies. I eagerly watched every entry in the Jaws franchise and even now, decades later, I’m always ready for a movie with one or more sharks in it.<\/p>\n

This is a list of my top five favorite shark movies.<\/p>\n

What are yours?<\/p>\n

1) Jaws<\/a> – This one started it all. Sure, the shark is scary, but it’s the characters that make this one great.<\/p>\n

2) Jaws 2<\/a> – Almost as good as the first with a lot of the same faces.<\/p>\n

3) Sharknado<\/a> – Just the idea of sharks sucked up in a tornado and wreaking havoc on land is enough to make me smile.<\/p>\n

4) 47 Meters Down<\/a> – Other than Jaws, this is probably the scariest fictional shark story I’ve ever seen. At first I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it, but a soon as that cage dropped in the water, I was pretty much hooked.<\/p>\n

5) Ice Sharks<\/a> – This movie has good suspense and a unique setting that I love. Scientists trapped in a research station are attacked by sharks, but the research station isn’t in tropical waters, it’s in the Arctic.<\/p>\n
