Loki episodes 3 and 4 are the best yet. In Episode 3: Lamentis, Loki and the Variant\u2014called Sylvie\u2014find themselves on a moon that\u2019s about to be destroyed. I\u2019ve been eager to see more of the female variant, and I wasn\u2019t disappointed. A Loki or not, Sylvie is a great match for our Loki. Even knowing that both are compulsive liars, it\u2019s impossible to remain unmoved by their moments of bonding. This episode shows a playful side to Loki that\u2019s reminiscent of some of his exchanges with his brother in Thor and Thor: Ragnorok. Despite the dangerous circumstances, this is probably the most unburdened the God who is \u201cburdened with glorious purpose\u201d has ever appeared.<\/p>\n
Sylvie does something that is almost impossible\u2014she is every bit as engaging and charismatic as Loki.<\/p>\n
In Episode 4: The Nexus Event, Loki and Sylvie are once again imprisoned by the TVA. It looks pretty grim for them, but Mobius and Hunter B15 make some surprising decisions. This episode has some pretty serious moments. One particular event with Mobius has me hoping it\u2019s not what it seems. All I can say is I\u2019m grateful for the post credit scene.<\/p>\n
