Hi! I\u2019m a cover artist and an author. I loooove paranormal and horror books. I collect Cheshire Cats and live in Savannah, GA. I\u2019m so bad at talking about myself. Ask me if you want to know more!<\/p>\n

Tell us about your most recent book. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Satyr from the Shadows is the third novel in the Cursed Satyroi series. It focuses on the love story of Melancton and Daphne, and twists the Apollo and Daphne myth a bit to work into the world of the series. Like in the myth, Apollo is obsessed with Daphne and she wants nothing to do with him. Only in this version, she\u2019s in love with a satyr.<\/p>\n

Who is the villain or antagonist in your story and what is he\/she like? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Apollo is the main villain of this book. He looks like a blond Abercrombie model, but his heart is as black as coal. He believes everything (and everyone) he desires is his by right.<\/p>\n

What do you think are the heroic qualities he\/she possess? <\/strong><\/p>\n

In his mind, he believes he is superior to others. If he is has no reason to wish someone dead, he could very well act in the interest of someone\u2019s safety. Unless that safety is distance from him.<\/p>\n

Is there any respect between this character and the hero\/heroine of your story? <\/strong><\/p>\n

None. He\u2019s a horrible person\u2026er\u2026god.<\/p>\n

What was the most difficult part of writing about this character? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Keeping him non-redeemable. A lot of series have been doing the redeemable villain storylines, and like for some villains to remain so evil you just hate them. Apollo and Dionysus are meant to be hated in my series.<\/p>\n

If you could give this character one piece of advice, what would it be? <\/strong><\/p>\n

She\u2019s not that into you!<\/p>\n

Who is one of your favorite fictional villains (can be from a book, movie or television)?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have many. Loki and Spike come directly to mind. They\u2019re sexy and sometimes just misunderstood. But are they bad? Oh, yes.<\/p>\n

Melancton has always preferred to be on his own, keeping to the shadows and maintaining a stoic appearance. Only Daphne can be the light to his darkness, and now that she’s returned, the fear of losing her again shakes him. With grave danger lurking on the horizon, Melancton and the satyrs of The Aegean Inn prepare for battle, but the odds are stacked against them.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Apollo enlists the aid of Dionysus in his determination to reclaim Daphne and punish those responsible for her disappearance. Is it possible to survive the fury of the gods?<\/p>\n

Rebekah Lewis holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. She is an award-winning cover artist for digital publishers, and enjoys every minute of it when not immersed into a world of satyrs and Greek gods. Always feeling the need to be productive, she can be found creating something whether with words or images, or with arts and crafts. She resides in Savannah, GA with her cat, Bagheera.<\/p>\n
