How long have you been a vampire?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n I was turned into a vampire against my will. It only happened recently. I was left to die without knowing what had happened, but I survived thanks to Talia.<\/p>\n Do you drink blood or are you a psychic vampire? <\/strong><\/p>\n I drink blood, but not human blood.<\/p>\n What’s the worst thing about being a vampire? <\/strong><\/p>\n The desire to drink human blood and not being able to be out in sunlight are bad, But worst is being told I shall have to kill Talia and make her a vampire. I can\u2019t bear the thought of that.<\/p>\n What is the best thing about being a vampire? <\/strong><\/p>\n I like the strength. I need it to fight the vampires who are trying to kill me, and to protect Talia.<\/p>\n Are there many others like you? <\/strong><\/p>\n I\u2019m not sure I know how many, but I sense that there are millions across the world.<\/p>\n Are you a magical creature or are you a different species? <\/strong><\/p>\n My understanding is that I am a different species that came into being many thousands of years ago.<\/p>\n Do you enjoy being a vampire? <\/strong><\/p>\n I\u2019m learning to enjoy some parts of my new existence. Meeting some of the ancient vampires is very interesting and intriguing. But there are so many things about vampires I don\u2019t know yet. I\u2019m still learning.<\/p>\n How do you feel about humans? <\/strong><\/p>\n My feelings about humans haven\u2019t really changed, but the way I perceive them is different. I have a heightened need to protect those I love, and an urge to kill those who threaten my loved ones. It\u2019s much stronger than I ever imagined it could be as a human.<\/p>\n Where are you from? <\/strong><\/p>\n California originally, but I\u2019m living in New York at the present time.<\/p>\n What is your main purpose in life? <\/strong><\/p>\n Right now it\u2019s to learn how to survive as a vampire and figure out the strange attraction I have for Talia. But I have a feeling there is a greater purpose for me to fulfill in the realm of vampires.<\/p>\n Who is your greatest enemy and why? <\/strong><\/p>\n For now it\u2019s the local Vampire Patron, Maron, and his flock. He\u2019s intent on taking over New York from the other vampires and he\u2019s after Talia and me. I\u2019m also certain one of his followers is the vampire who turned me and left me for dead.<\/p>\n Do you think you can ever reconcile with this enemy? <\/strong><\/p>\n Never. One of us must die.<\/p>\n Do you have a love interest? \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n What can I say? Talia is the one who found me and saved my life when I didn\u2019t know what had happened to me. She comes across as selfish and cold, but she\u2019s hiding a deeply hurtful past. She even came up with a way for me to make a living as a vampire as spokesperson for this crazy idea of a Dracula themed amusement park. I owe her so much\u2026and then there\u2019s the strange almost overpowering, attraction I feel for her.,.<\/p>\n What is your weapon of choice?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n I prefer to fight hand-to-hand, but I have no aversion to swords and knives if needed.<\/p>\n What makes you happy?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n Feeling that I\u2019ve found a way to belong after becoming a vampire. I thought my life was over and had nothing to live for when I woke in that alley after the attack. Being with Talia and Pip also makes me happy.<\/p>\n Do you have a code of honor? \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n It\u2019s the same as when I was a human. I always tried to be a good person, a gentleman. But I\u2019m also learning the code of the vampires from the ancient ones and I find that gives me a sense of purpose.<\/p>\n What makes you angry? <\/strong><\/p>\n Anyone who tries to hurt the ones I love.<\/p>\n If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?<\/strong><\/p>\n If I have to be a vampire, I wish I had been changed by someone who could have led me through the changes and helped me understand.<\/p>\n What do you think is your greatest strength? \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Compassion and honor.<\/p>\n What do you think is your greatest weakness?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n Talia<\/p>\n What do you think is your enemy’s greatest strength? \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The ability to hurt or kill Talia.<\/p>\n What do you think is your enemy’s greatest weakness? \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n He\u2019s overly self-confident first of all. He thinks he can control all of Manhattan and ignore the rules of the past. Worst of all, he made the mistake of chaining an ancient vampire elder in his dungeon.<\/p>\n Name one person you admire.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n Vladimir Ivanov. But that\u2019s another story\u2026<\/p>\n I hope you enjoy this series.
