Where are you from?<\/strong>
\nI was born in Red Forest, a huge of expanse of forest stretching out across Northern Britain. But when the civil war broke out, my father smuggled me and my elder sister out. We made it. He didn\u2019t. We ended up separated. I found a home in a convent on the coast and stayed there until the fighting once again caught up with me. So I seized the opportunity to move back to civilisation and join my sister in Safe Haven, the town around London.<\/p>\n
\nThe same as anyone: to survive. I\u2019m a Reacher in a world that hates my kind. I have to continue at any cost, whatever it takes. There are so few of us left now. I\u2019ve lost my father, my sister\u2026<\/p>\n
\nThe Institute. Although it\u2019s an enemy I don\u2019t fully understand. They\u2019re hunting me under the authority of the British Government. And they\u2019ll never stop.<\/p>\n
\nYou can\u2019t reconcile with these people. They\u2019re soldiers and scientists interested more in how my powers work than who I am. They will hunt me and eventually they will find me. I\u2019ll never be able to reason with them. To stop them. To save myself.<\/p>\n
\nWhen you\u2019re constantly on the run there\u2019s no time for love. The people I\u2019m with now, the Smith Brothers, are as close to love as I will ever get, but they are like my own brothers now. There was another, a guy from Safe Haven who cared for me. But he was a cop and if he knew what I was he\u2019d have turned me in to the authorities. At least I could never trust that he wouldn\u2019t.<\/p>\n
\nI\u2019m a telepathic Reacher. My weapon is my mind. If I can touch you I can read your thoughts, uncover your secrets, even make you do things. That\u2019s why they\u2019re all so scared of me.<\/p>\n
\nFreedom. And in the rare moments I get to experience it I cherish it, because it never lasts long.<\/p>\n
\nI trained as a doctor and I have my medical code. I guess it translates to other areas of my life. But sometimes out here it\u2019s kill or be killed. Sometimes you have to do the wrong thing to stay alive.<\/p>\n
\nThe injustice of this world. Seeing the rich flourish over the poor. Seeing our government betray our country for their own gain.<\/p>\n
\nI would make myself stronger, so I could help my friends, so I could stay alive longer.<\/p>\n
\nMy powers, maybe my compassion.<\/p>\n

\nI mostly admire Charlie Smith. Charlie saved me, he chose me over a fortune, despite needing money to find his daughter. He\u2019s a good man who has lived the worst of lives. His strength is limitless, he just doesn\u2019t realise it. One day I\u2019ll get to prove how grateful I am for all he has done for me.<\/p>\n
\nI admire Charlie but I trust his brother John more. John may be an emotionless robot at times, but he\u2019s reliable. He has my back and there isn\u2019t a man alive I would trust more to cover me. A lot of people are scared of him, rightly so, but he lives by his word and he has never let me down.<\/p>\n
