Journals With Prompts

All Through October

Download a free printable version of All Through October here.

If you would like to order a paperback version, it is available at Amazon.

A journal with prompts for the month of October. Rate movies you’ve watched and books you’ve read. There’s space for favorite autumn recipes. Also 31 days of writing or art prompts and room for photos and your daily thoughts. Look back on how you spent the beautiful month of October.

There’s nothing quite like October.  It’s too soon for heavy snow, but the nights are chilly enough for snuggling by the fireplace or the wood or pellet stove and watching scary movies.

As a horror movie fan, I’ll watch them any time of year, but somehow they’re even more enticing in October.

Halloween and autumn decorations are everywhere. My family always used to celebrate Halloween with a party. Everyone would show up in a costume and bring along a Halloween dish. Even if you’re not into Halloween, there are so many other wonderful things about October, from apple picking to visiting a country fair.

It’s the time of year to bake apple crisp, pumpkin pie, and other autumn treats. Outside are magnificent displays of trees dressed in red, orange, and gold.

I created All Through October as a way to explore the things I love about my favorite month. It’s a way to preserve memories and look back on past Octobers.

My Favorite Fictional Characters

Download a free printable version of My Favorite Fictional Characters here.

A journal with prompts for anyone who loves fictional characters.

If you would like to order a paperback version, it is available at Amazon.

Like many people, I’ve always loved fictional characters. For as long as I can remember, they have brought me happiness and comfort. They have inspired my creativity, and they have often helped me understand myself. It’s a wonderful feeling when you open a book or watch a movie or television show and you meet a character who touches your heart. Sometimes it’s a hero, and other times it’s an antagonist. Many times it’s not even a main character, but a secondary character you connect with.

If you’re a writer, it’s common to keep profiles of your characters to help with development and consistency, but to me that’s not the same as journaling about the characters I’ve fallen in love with. When I searched for a journal with prompts to write about my thoughts and feelings about characters who’ve touched my life, I couldn’t find quite what I was looking for, so I created My Favorite Fictional Characters for my own pleasure.

I hope you find this journal to be helpful, useful, or just plain fun. Please let me know if you’ve enjoyed using it, or if you have any comments or suggestions about what you might like included in future editions. I can be reached at katehill2@yahoo.com.

Peace and joy!
