Kai draws me closer and I slide my hand up his back. Hard muscles flex beneath my palms. My pulse races and I moan softly. He groans, tightening his arms around me before he breaks the kiss and steps back.
We’re both a little breathless.
“Sorry,” he says.
“Kai—”
“Ivy, you’re beautiful. I mean seriously hot, but I don’t think this is the right time.”
I stare at him, still tingling from his kiss. “Are you kidding me?”
