This will be my last excerpt from my latest release the Immaculate, at least for now. 🙂 In this excerpt, the hero Adam is about to meet the vampire he has spent his life training to destroy. The First Father is considered the most dangerous vampire in the world. He’s an Original vampire (part of an alien race) and has more strength and “magical” powers than hybrids (vampires made by bite) and Immaculates (those born from two hybrids).
Adam’s twin brother Matthew and their frenemy Vincent are backing up Adam in the fight, but they can’t seem to stop their bickering. Adam has finally had enough.

Excerpt:
“So you read that?” Vincent nodded toward the thick book. “Makes me itchy just reading the back cover.”
“So go back to looking out the window at the pretty seascape,” Matthew said, as if speaking to a child.
“I’d love to knock you out, genius. Just once.”
“Any time you want to try.”
Adam held up his hands. “Don’t you two even think about starting a fight on this plane, or I’ll knock you both out.”

Scarred in mind and body after a brutal attack, Mara travels to Spain in pursuit of an explanation for flashbacks that hint at supernatural evil. There she meets Adam, a gorgeous vampire fighting demons of his own. Bound by mutual attraction and suffering, it seems they can heal each other, until their romantic relationship turns potentially deadly for one of them.
Note: The Immaculate was previously published. This re-edited version contains additional scenes. The Immaculate contains scenes with sex and violence. The story refers to past rape, past child abuse, and a past suicide attempt.

Again, great banter. Have been enjoying the snippets of your new release 🙂
Sounds like my sons whenever they’re together!
I wonder if this banter masks some nervousness at the coming conflict. Nervous energy, I guess. Which in vampires could get deadly. Nice snippet!
