1. He was a fiercely beautiful demon–the kind who could easily lure mortal victims.
2. “You’re going to fail, Sinister, and I’m going to enjoy watching our masters destroy you.”
3. Jayden nearly melted though the bed.
4. She didn’t believe in love at first sight and to Jayden, chemistry was nothing more than a class she’d struggled through in high school–at least that’s what she’d thought until last night.
5. Very little surprised her, but this guy always seem to shock the hell out of her.
6. “It seems you don’t have a problem with a lot of things angels shouldn’t do.”
7. “Have you ever pretended to be something you’re not?”
8. “Lord help me, I did seduce an angel,” she murmured.
9. . His delicious scent filled the air and she instantly tingled in places she didn’t want to think about.
10. Why, when she finally met a man she could fall in love with, did he turn out to be a celestial spirit destined to leave after a brief time on Earth?
11. “I love you,” he said before changing to smoke and flying home while he still had the strength.
12. “Still telling lies, are you?”
13. “Jayden, listen to me. I want you to leave right now. Before it’s too late.”
