INTERVIEW with Kay Manis
1. What is one of your favorite things about writing?
I love the escape it provides me. Having the power to create your own ending is pretty cool!
2. When you’re brainstorming for a new story, what usually comes first for you, the plot or the characters?
I think both. I see the characters inside the plot all at once.
3. Can you write sex scenes at any time or do you have to be in the mood?
I could write a sex scene in the middle of Taco Bell while eating a burrito supreme!
4. What do you like best about writing?
I love that I can make my characters do anything I want to do, look any way I want to, say anything I want to, have sex anywhere I want to…ha ha!
5. What is the most difficult thing about writing?
Promoting and marketing – it sucks hairy balls!
6. What do you like about writing series books?
I love that my characters live on and on. You get to see them past their happily ever after.
