Excerpt from Scarlet Nights (Collection) Starving Artist
Blair guided her onto her back and stretched out beside her. Beneath the blanket, the grass created a soft cushion. While their lips and tongues moved sensually against each other, Blair lightly trailed a hand over her hips and along the side of her breast.
“Oh, Blair,” she whispered against his lips.
He opened his eyes to gaze at May. Her eyes were closed, her thick lashes fluttering. Her gently rounded face was slightly flushed, her full lips dark pink. He caressed her cheek, loving the feel of her soft skin.
“You’re so beautiful, May,” he said in a husky voice. He could scarcely believe she was here — warm and willing in his arms. Truly he hadn’t been this happy in nearly a century and a half.
