Hello! I hope you’ve had a great week.
I’ve been working on my new romantic suspense series. Hopefully I’ll soon have some news about publication.
Don’t forget to check out the recent guests who have stopped by here and the Compelling Beasts Blog.
I’m thinking about new features to add to the blogs. If there is something you’d like to see, please leave a comment or email me at katehill@sprintmail.com.

Excerpt of the Week:
Sword and Shield
by Saloni Quinby
M/M Vampire
“If he kills you, it will double the reason for me to challenge him,” Joel said passionately.
Rule pressed him to the door again and stared deeply into his eyes. “Then I’d better win.”
Joel opened his mouth to say something, but Rule covered it in a kiss.
Wrapping his arms around Rule’s neck, Joel kissed him back. Hard.
What if Gram killed him tomorrow? Joel didn’t think he could stand losing someone else he loved, especially not Rule. Why did he still feel so much for the man?
Instead of kissing Joel harder, Rule’s lips and tongue moved tenderly against his.
“Let’s go to the bedroom,” Rule whispered against his lips. “If I’m going to fight tomorrow, give me something to remember.”
Joel took his hand and they walked to the bedroom. Standing near the bed, they kissed again. Rule slid Joel’s jacket off his shoulders and it fell to the floor, then he shrugged off his own.
They slowly unbuttoned each other’s shirts while kissing. No one had ever kissed Joel with so much tenderness as he now felt with Rule.
Rule wove his fingers through Joel’s hair and stared into his eyes. Joel sensed he wanted to speak, but he couldn’t seem to find the words.
