What is one of your favorite things about writing?
I love that it is something I can do anywhere and is not your typical “9 to 5” job.
When you’re brainstorming for a new story, what usually comes first for you, the plot or the characters?
Ooh, great question! It’s usually a basic plot or idea then the characters make themselves known J
Are you a plotter or a pantser?
I’m a “plantser” (part plotter, part pantser) and “scener”. Sometimes I do a simple plot outline then begin writing. Other times, I start with a scene and write around that.
When you’re writing, who is more in control, you or your characters?
Definitely my characters. Sometimes I get a shock with the way the story goes!
Can you write sex scenes at any time or do you have to be “in the mood?”
Anytime J
What is the most difficult thing about writing?
The most difficult thing about writing is self-doubt! That inner critic can sometimes be overwhelming.
What do you like about writing series books?
I like the way the characters develop over the course of a series. You really get to know them.
What do you feel are some of the pros and cons of electronic publishing (instead of traditional print format)?
It is a quick process (i.e. you can have your electronic book online within a couple of months whereas it’s usually at least one year with traditional). You can also buy books from the comfort of your home at any time of the day or night and you don’t have to wait for shops to open or parcels to arrive.
Would you tell us about your latest release?
Crave Her Touch is the second book in my “Smithfield” series. It has a stalking theme and focuses on the story of Jenny Abrahams, a secondary character from book 1 in the series (See Her Run). Her hero, Peter Gandry, has a secret connection to the first book.
What are you working on now?
I am just finishing off a time travel themed romantic suspense, called “A Time to Love” J For NaNoWriMo (my first time doing it!) I am hoping to start book two in my “Farris Triplets” romantic suspense novella series. The working title for that one is “Triple Terror”.
Do you have a favorite character or characters you feel especially close to?
-Diana King and Jonathan Smith, from See Her Run, will always hold a special place in my heart <3
Would you share one of the sexiest or most romantic lines from one of your books?
This is a romantic line from Crave Her Touch: “The doubt in her eyes shot to his heart. That was when all of his doubts dissolved. He knew for sure: he had fallen in love with Jenny”.
Do you prefer writing your heroes, your heroines or do you like writing both equally?
I tend to fall in love with both my hero and heroine equally J
What are your favorite genres to read and write?
-Romantic suspense is my favorite genre, though I am starting to crossover to contemporary, time travel, and paranormal romance J

Do you have any particular writing habits? (Listening to music, best time of day to write, etc.)
-Yeah. I like to have music or a movie playing in the background. It is always something I have listened to or watched a thousand times before so that it becomes more like relaxing white noise and I am not distracted.
Where would you go on your dream vacation?
-Paris, England, Hawaii, Thailand. Paris is the only place I haven’t been before J
Name three fictional characters (not your own) that you find hot. They can be from books, movies, or TV.
-This is probably not going to be what you are used to hearing, lol! I love the character Lee (played by Bruce Lee) in Enter The Dragon, the character Frank Dux (played by Jean-Claude Van Damme) in Blood Sport, and the character Han (played by Jet Li) in Romeo Must Die.
What is your favorite comfort food?
-Anything with chocolate or potato in it 😀
Do you have any pets?
-Yes. One beautiful, grumpy grey cat called “Shadowmaster Baby” (Shadow for short) J
About the Book
Title: Crave Her Touch
Author: A.K. Leigh
Genre: Romantic Suspense
An insecure bombshell, unpredictable stalker, and guilt-ridden hero clash in this story of redemption, trust, self-belief, and the lengths people will go to for true love.
Jennifer “Jenny” Abrahams has three goals: to teach women about mixed martial arts, become North Carolina’s first female mixed martial arts champion, and find true love. Two things stand in her way: the stalker intent on claiming her for himself and her emotional insecurities.
At a crossroads in his career as a witnesses protection minder, Peter “Pete” Gandry, is given the opportunity to return to the scene of his only failure––Smithfield, North Carolina. The assignment is familiar: he must keep an eye on Diana King. He agrees, hoping it will help him find redemption and ease the guilt he feels.
Odd things begin to happen to Jenny. At first, she dismisses them as over-reacting to memories of a stalker from her past. Until, she receives an unsettling note. Four words stand out: I crave your touch . . .
Increasingly, the evidence points to someone she knows. Who can she trust? And, who is this mysterious newcomer who has ignited long buried passion within her?
When the sister of an old nemesis arrives in Smithfield, Pete is forced to expose his true identity. The town quickly turn against him. Just when he thinks it can’t get worse, the stalking evidence begins to point to him.
Can he clear his name and save Jenny from the real stalker in time?
Crave Her Touch is the second book in the “Smithfield” series. Book one, See Her Run, tells Diana King’s story.
