True love, do you think it really exists? That’s the topic this week for the MFRA 52 Week Blog Challenge.
Whether true love exists probably depends on your definition of love. To me, true love doesn’t necessarily mean romantic love, though it can of course include romantic love.
To me, true love is willingness to support someone when they need it most and to place your own needs and desires aside if necessary. It’s someone you truly want in your life, even if you don’t always get along or agree. Just as important, with true love, the support and feelings are reciprocated.
I do think that kind of love exists, because I’ve experienced it.
What is your idea of true love and do you think it exists?

Yes indeed, the reciprocal element is crucial to true love. Nice post today.
I agree with you upon the necessity of reciprocation, which often entails sacrifices large and small. I’m lucky to have that in my husband.
Holly, it is a great feeling to have that kind of trust.
Thank you, Sadira.
