For an author, does life exist outside of writing? That’s the topic this week in the MFRA 52-week blog challenge.
As much as I love writing, my answer is a definite yes, there is life outside of writing. Writing is one of the most important parts of my life, though not as important as my family. It’s among my favorite ways to spend time, but I have other interests as well, like exercise, reading, and watching movies for example.
My writing is affected by other parts of my life, and sometimes because of research for books, I discover new hobbies or I learn about people, places, and causes I never would have otherwise known about. Life exists outside of writing, but my life is also enriched by writing and the things I’ve learned because of it.
