The WeWriWa blog hop invites writers to share 8-10 sentences from one of their stories. This week my snippet is from my paranormal romance Wild Witches of Beaver Bay 1: Mysti and Starr. It’s due to release on Friday.
“Here we go,” Mysti said, approaching with two steaming mugs and a plastic container tucked under her arm. Starr sat up and took the mugs from her to place them on the coffee table.
She tugged the lid off the container and tossed it next to the mugs.
“Chocolate arrowroot cookies,” she said. “Gluten free. Dairy free. Nut free.”
“Taste free?” he teased.
She narrowed her eyes at him.

Taste free? lol That would be my husband’s comment, too. Nice job.
