I love Halloween! We do the yard decorations over the top. I’ve been highlighted in our local paper the last three years. This year we are doing a mad scientist lab. Hop on over to my Facebook page or Instagram if you are interested in seeing what it looks like ?
It’s not just the decorating I love but it’s the entertaining. Halloween is the ‘last’ time people really get out before we hibernate for the winter (I live in the cold cold northern part of Michigan). So my top 3 list is the food I love to serve. It was hard to come with just three…
1. Vampire Punch – drinks are important. This has lots of vodka, cherry puree (for thickness), and grenadine
2. ‘Finger food’ – this is actual ‘finger’ food. I make fingers in blood sauce, fingers stuffed with worms, etc.
3. Graveyard cake – there are tons of varieties of this dessert. But what is Halloween without a cake with arms, legs, worms coming out of it? And ghost floating on top????
About Lyncee: I live in cold cold northern Michigan – last year we didn’t have school for the entire months of January and February! Which my 7-year-old loved but me I was having wine on Cheerios. I have been married for over 35 years to an amazing man who supports me totally. I said I think I’m going to kill people, he was okay, do you know where you are going to bury them?
