Sometimes you just need to do what you want–within reason, that is. Everyone is tempted by different things. I have a weakness for cheese tortilla chips. I like them so much that I’ll only eat them a few times a year. If I buy a large bag, I’ll eat them until I’m physically sick. Sad, but true. Those few times a year, though, I just have to have them, so I’ll buy a small bag. Therefore I’m unable to overdo it. To me, that’s the difference between temptation helping and hurting–if you don’t harm yourself or anyone else, it’s no big deal to give in to something like eating a favorite but not-so-healthy food.
