This week’s topic for the MFRA 52-Week Blog Challenge is Buying a new car–brand loyalty or best price?
To me a car is an unfortunate necessity. I don’t live in an area that has public transportation that I can use to get to work or appointments, so I’d be in trouble without a car.
Even if I had a lot of money to blow, I wouldn’t spend it on a car. To me price is very important, but so is safety. When I buy a car, I don’t need a specific brand, but I try to get the most for my money as far as quality and safety.

Kate, I’m with you all the way! I never understood the big attraction to particular cars, whether models or brands. Get me from A to B and I’m happy. If I do it on less money than expected, I’m happier!
