This week’s topic “best biography or autobiography” was a hard post to write because I generally don’t enjoy them.
The main one that comes to mind for me is The Man Who Was Don Quixote by Rafaello Busoni. Man of La Mancha is one of my favorite plays, and back when I was a kid I was obsessed with it. For a school project, I chose to read that particular biography about Cervantes. I enjoyed reading it, but overall, unless I have a particular reason to read a biography or autobiography, I don’t choose them, and they usually don’t become a favorite book.

I loved The Man of La Mancha … and I have an earworm from your post 🙂
This was a tough week for me, as well, as I don’t love reading biographies.
I am another one who only reads biographies or autobiographies under fire. The biography of Cervantes, I will admit, sounds interesting, but I would be happy with a summary of it.
I’d never heard of this book. I’m glad you liked it so much.
I love the play, bombed the test in World Literature dropping me from an A to B+. I still hold a grudge against the book.
I’d never heard of this, but ti sounds interesting.
