My first thought when I read the topic of this week’s challenge–What do you do when you’re not feeling well?–was that “not feeling well” meant being physically sick, but it can also mean emotional distress.
When I’m not feeling well emotionally (I don’t mean when I’m facing a serious problem or grieving), I allow myself to wallow in it for a while, and then I try to do something creative, exercise, watch a favorite movie, or read a favorite book. Doing one of those things can often lift my spirits.
I also like to use oracle or Tarot cards because they sometimes help me think about what’s going on in my life, and they challenge me to find other possibilities when something is on my mind. When I’m down about something, it’s easy to feel like there’s no way out, but there are usually alternatives. I just need to open my mind to them, and sometimes the cards help me do that.
What are some things that help you when you’re not feeling well?

Ooh, I like your take!
Yeah, it’s a great idea to have a list of things to do when you have a bad day. They really come in handy once those days arrive.
Thanks for stopping by my post earlier.
I like the oracle/tarot idea! I was thinking more about physical illness in my post, but for more mental/emotional stuff that seems like a really great idea.
You’re right emotional is equally important as physical health, and harder to deal with.
I seek solace in creativity. Taking my mind off of things really helps. Mental
Health is so important because I think it can harm your physical health too.
