It’s been a while since I’ve participated in the Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge, but this is a great week to jump back in!
The topic is “how I stay cool during heat waves.” So far this year there’s been almost nonstop rain where I live in the Northeast USA. I enjoy warm rain, and in general heat doesn’t bother me, but humidity isn’t pleasant, and we’ve had a lot of that, too.
I’m not a person you’ll hear complain about the heat. Cold, yes. I don’t like being cold. If things get too hot for me, though, I’ll spend time in the house. Luckily my house maintains a decent temperature even in the summer. I also have a basement that’s cool all year round. My heavy bag is down there, so I’m not bored spending time in the basement. Another sure way to cool off is a quick, cool shower.

I would always rather be too cold than too hot. I wilt in humidity, so right now I’m collapsing.
I hope you get a break from the rain soon! if only you could send some of it to Canada. We need it. 🙂
