She smirks. “And you haven’t even lived five lifetimes yet, even if you have some silver in that pretty brown hair.”
“Do you do this to all the guys? Read their minds?”
“As often as possible.”
“Do you ever read something you regret when you pry into someone’s mind?”
She offers a frozen smile.
