This excerpt is from my short werewolf romance Caleb. It just released on September 1st. In this excerpt Tia, under less than ideal circumstances, has just been introduced to Caleb’s closest friend in the human world.
Excerpt from Caleb:
“Since when do you care about furniture?” Tia teased, despite the worry etched on her face. She was clearly trying to keep my mind occupied.
“He’s the only guy I know who can eat raw meat in a white shirt and not spill a drop. I should know. I’ve done enough of his laundry,” Curtis remarked, stepping into the room. He knelt beside me and opened his medical bag.
“Yeah, I know a little about his laundry, too,” Tia said.
“I don’t believe it. I’m bleeding to death and you two are talking about my dirty socks.”
“Just trying to keep your mind off what I’m about to do. Tia, I’ll need you to help me.”

Note: Caleb is a very short werewolf action romance story with a mild heat level, moderate violence, and a HEA. This Romantic Moments story is the perfect length for a lunch break, before bed, or any time you want a quick, romantic read.

Enjoyed the conversation between them. Wonder what he’s going to do next 😉
If he needs distracting it’s going to be . . . bad. Nice scene, Kate!
Yikes. Sounds like somethings going to be painful.
